explorer, Hernando De Soto, Talladega was once the home of the
Creek Indians who lived prosperously as farmers until war came.
Today's traveler's can relive the battle in which Andrew Jackson
defeated a force of Creeks. In modern times however, Talladega is
famous for its Gran Prix Raceway that attractions millions of
enthusiast from around the world. In fact this fall, Will Ferrell
will begin shooting a new movie at the Superspeedway. |
