The Black Bear Inn is a waterfront Bed and Breakfast and
Luxury Vacation Rental located in Ketchikan, Alaska. The Inn,
completed in 2005, was designed for guest's privacy and
relaxation. Fine accommodations, unique furnishings, elegant décor
and numerous amenities are enhanced by its inviting setting
overlooking the Tongass Narrows of the Inside Passage.
Black Bear Inn's main house features four beautifully
appointed guest bedrooms with private entrances and baths.
Each guestroom offers amenities such as fireplaces, flat
screen TV's with DVD and VCR players, refrigerators, and
phones. For relaxing outdoors, Black Bear Inn also features a
covered outdoor Spa, fire pit, and BBQ. For the ultimate
convenience, free high speed Wireless Internet is available
everywhere on the property.
The Eagles Nest is the Black Bear Inn's one-bedroom suite,
which is on the top floor and has its own private entrance and
covered porch. The living room features a hand built designer
fireplace and a leather couch/queen bed, as well as a flat
panel TV, a DVD and VCR player, a game and movie cabinet, and
a library. There is a full bathroom and spacious laundry room
off the living area.
In the morning, enjoy a continental breakfast. Snacks are
always available. Three eating areas offer dining privacy or
to accommodate large groups. The well-designed kitchen
features top of the line appliances, a crystal chandelier,
Italian tile work and everything you need to prepare that
special meal. An outdoor crab cooker, fish smoker and fish
cleaning area let you prepare your own catch of the day.
