trout and salmon (10 to 40 minutes) or Ship Creek King Salmon (20
minutes). Golf and sailing (10 to 45 minutes). Birding, horseback
riding, tennis and bicycling (10 to 20 minutes). Onsite
cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Flight-seeing over Mt.
McKinley and Glaciers, Glacier Hiking, River Rafting, Ocean
Cruising/Whale Watching, and Saltwater Fishing.

museum, Native Cultural Center, downtown Anchorage, arboretum,
historical interests, lakes, and concert venues.

- Location: South of Anchorage proper (10
miles from the city center) in the Foothills of the Chugach
Mountains.
- Directions: From Anchorage
International Airport: take International Airport Road EAST
to Minnesota Blvd., turn RIGHT on Minnesota to New Seward Highway,
then RIGHT on Seward Highway South to Rabbit Creek Road. LEFT on
Rabbit Creek Road (exit to right of highway, then left). Take Rabbit
Creek for about 2 1/2 miles, turn LEFT on Goldenview Drive, turn
RIGHT on 142nd, then RIGHT on Pickett, RIGHT on 144th and then LEFT
on Joanne Circle, go to #14600 at the end of a one block cul-de-sac
on the RIGHT.
