Ingredients: 1-1/2 ounces Canadian whiskey; 1/2 ounce amaretto; 1 ounce orange juice; 1 ounce cranberry juice; 1/2 ounce maple syrup; 1 maple leaf, fresh or frozen

Mix all ingredients except maple leaf in a shaker or blender with cracked ice. Strain into a large, chilled champagne flute. Make a cut in the maple leaf and hand it on the rim of the glass.

Measurements
1 dash = 6 drops
3 Teaspoons = 1/2 ounce
1 pony = 1 ounce
1 jigger = 1-1/2 ounce
1 large jigger = 2 ounces

Sugar Syrup
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
Place sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer gently until the mixture condenses into a clear, sweet syrup, approximately 5 minutes. Cool. You can use immediately or store indefinitely in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
