Situated at the base of Lookout Mountain and
only two miles from downtown Mentone, Winston Place is
centrally located between Chattanooga, Birmingham and
Atlanta. On the National Register of Historical
Places, this inn the impressive lavishness of the
veranda, both upstairs and down, is undoubtedly one of
the state's finest examples of how the master builders
planned for open air living made possible in
ante-bellum days. |
Accommodations at Winston Place include six private
suites and rooms, each with private bath and sun porch.
Room 1 offers a king bed and Room 2 offers two double
beds; both are downstairs. Upstairs are two rooms, one
with two queens and one with a king and double, as well as
a two-room suite featuring a king and queen bed. A full
breakfast is included.
Winston Place provides the perfect atmosphere for
family reunions, weddings, and corporate retreats. This
home also provides central air conditioning and heating to
keep your special event or stay as comfortable as
possible. |

Place was NE Designer Showcase in 1995, designed again by
Crowncraft in 1997, and featured in Southern Living
in 1998. It is a popular wedding property.
